Dear Author the mentioned Shortcode's didn't work you have to update your documentation.
Placing directly on php file:

Does a great job, but I really miss an option to loop the announcements so that there is no gap between the last and first entries.

The shortcode for posts and pages are not working. The php code is also wrong. I found right codes after 1 hour of search.
