WooCommerce Auto Restore Stock will automatically restore your WooCommerce inventory/stock for orders that was placed and refunded or cancelled.
The inventory/stock restore is triggered when the order goes from on-hold, processing, completed to either cancelled or refunded status.
When WooCommerce Auto Restore Stock restores the inventory/stock it will also add order notes to the order in question to show the adjusted values and to indicate that inventory/stock was restored.

woocommerce-auto-stock-restoreto the/wp-content/plugins/directory - Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress
- Cancel or Refund a completed, processing or on-hold order to make the inventory/stock restore.

Thank to the previously only one negative review about this plugin, I do confirm that it restores twice the amount it should have done: try it yourself.
So, it does not work, unfortunately…

This plugin is outdated.
It restore twice the ammount that it should be doing on a cancelled order.

Before I used this plugin, I had to manually increase stock quantities for every product after a cancellation. I don’t understand why this is not the default behaviour in Woocommerce.
A very simple but useful plugin which fixes this imperfection.
