SPOSCOR Football & Soccer is a dedicated football plugin built on top of SPOSCOR Core. Football is called soccer in some countries and football in most of the world — this plugin is for the same sport either way. It adds football-specific features like half-by-half scoreboards, extra time, penalty shootouts, formations, starting lineups, and match highlights — all designed to publish your match results beautifully.

Both. Football and soccer are two names for the same sport, so this plugin works the same whether your league calls it football, soccer, futebol or fútbol. The scoreboard uses half-by-half scoring with extra time and penalty shootouts, which is how football matches are scored everywhere.

Do I need SPOSCOR Core?

Yes. SPOSCOR Football & Soccer is a sport extension that requires the free SPOSCOR Core plugin. Core handles the shared functionality (shortcodes, design themes) while this plugin adds football-specific features.

Does it support extra time and penalty shootouts?

Yes. Use the +/- buttons to add ET1 and ET2 columns. For penalty shootouts, the PK column is available at the end of the scoreboard, entered separately from regulation and extra-time goals.

Can I use shorter halves for junior or futsal matches?

Yes. The match length is adjustable and the half labels (1H / 2H) work for any duration, including junior categories (U-10, U-12, U-15) and futsal.

Can I record goal scorers, cards, and substitutions?

Yes. The Highlights section lets you record each event with the player, minute, and team. Goals, penalty goals, own goals, yellow cards, red cards, and substitutions are all supported.
